Keynote Speaker: Dr. Lucia Piscitello
Dr. Lucia Piscitello is a Professor of International Business and Economics at Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests cover the economics and management of MNEs, the international aspects of technological change, the geography of innovation, and the impact of MNEs and FDI on the host and home economies. Her recent studies focus on agglomeration and MNEs’ location strategies, globalization of R&D and technology development in the global network of MNEs, digital technologies, global sourcing, and reshoring. She is Associate Editor of the Global Strategy Journal and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. She has published over 80 refereed journal articles. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Economic Geography, Economic Geography, Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Industrial and Corporate Change, Research Policy, among others. She is Visiting Professor at the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK, and she acts as an external expert for the Department of Geography & Environment, London School of Economics, UK. She is a Fellow, Past President, and Chair of the European International Business Academy (EIBA).

Research Method Workshop
We are glad to report that AIB Research Methods Shared Interest Group collaborates with AIB US NE to provide a research method workshop for the conference attendees this year. Join us for a hands-on workshop to gain insights into the latest research methodology in the IB field and sharpen research skills through this interactive workshop.
Best Paper Awards / New England Journal of Entrepreneurship
The best papers from the AIB US NE Conference will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the New England Journal of Entrepreneurship (NEJE). After a peer-review process, the selected manuscripts will be published in 2022. NEJE is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that aims to foster dialogue and innovation in studies of entrepreneurship and small & family-owned business management. NEJE is listed in Cabell’s and is ranked in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal List. Since January 2018, NEJE is published by Emerald and is in the process of applying for The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
